WHO WE ARE!
I'm James and this is my partner Rhone. Together we are the Expedition Ranch Team! (yes we're a small operation)
Both of us have a huge passion for the outdoors, overland camping and the experience we get to have exploring public lands on 2 and 4 wheels!
Together we work to build offroad vehicles in our hangar house, film youtube videos, source products we know you will love and personally ship your order from our home to yours!
WHERE IT STARTED
In 2021 I built our first giveaway rig, a 99 F350 ambulance converted into an offroad camper. At the time, I never imagined it would be a giveaway rig as I traveled full time as a nomad through the deserted parts of the western US with my dog, Ruger and a dual sport strapped to the back.
In 2023, over 317 miles of extremely popular trails in Moab were shut down and over my several years as a nomad, I really began to appreciate our public lands; Everything from remote free dispersed campsites, off road trails and single track.
When that happened I got the crazy idea to start Expedition Ranch.
THE JOURNEY HERE
The idea was great but a little far fetched at the time. I was near broke and that first giveaway was my home on the road. Well, a few years of 80-120 hour work weeks, a lot of coffee and just a bit of insanity turned it into a reality.
I moved from free shop to free shop in the early years of Expedition Ranch (thanks to our Youtube Subs!) until I found a place in 2025 where we could really start to grow... We found an aircraft hangar that doubles as our workshop, fullfillment center and our little home!
BUILDING YOUR RIGS
Now we are building out our workshop and working hard to bring you some very unique rigs. We love motorcycles, 4x4's and especially campers.
One thing that makes us different than your typical sweepstakes company is that we actually build the rigs ourselves, film the build and post it to our YouTube channel @expeditionranchtv so you can build it yourselves!
We love the vehicles and the creativity that goes into building them and we want to share that with you!
SHIPPING YOUR ORDERS
We don't dropship. We take a lot of time looking for products we think you will love, getting samples, customizing and testing them. Everything we have (except for new t-shirt drops) gets shipped right here from the hangar!
We pack every order, pack in a few stickers, a handwritten note and drop it off at our local post office ourselves.
This makes customer service, quality control and everything else so much better and we always look to take care of our customers. We want you to love your item, giveaway or not:)
WHAT'S NEXT
The goal is to keep on upping our game, building our shop, pushing our skill level and bringing you cooler and cooler vehicles with each giveaway.
We also want to up our impact for our public lands. While we are not a non profit, protecting the experience we love with public lands is a huge motivator to us and while public lands, access and conservation are complex topics we want to make a positive impact for the conservation of the lands, motorized accesss and dispersed camping.
