THE MISSION
BUILD
It's our passion to build one-of-a-kind overland campers designed to be used off road for weeks at a time without access to supplies and resources!
Here at Expedition Ranch, we wanted to do something a little different from you average Sprinter vans and cookie-cutter builds. We build on proven heavy duty platforms with a focus on simplicity, durability, parts availability, and ease of maintenance/repair. This is essential when traveling to remote areas- Complexity of vehicles and their systems ultimately leads to more points of potential failure.
We have a particular interest in the 99-03 Ford SuperDuty Trucks with 7.3 PowerStroke diesel engines for this exact reason. These are highly sought after and proven platforms that will put up with the use and abuse that accompanies overland travel.
GIVEAWAY
Coming from the community of full time travelers we have found that there are often two types of people.
Those with great financial resources that are able to enjoy a life on the road in an incredible, expensive rig without worry, and those doing whatever they can to make this lifestyle a reality.
The latter makes up the vast majority of us in the community- These people are free spirits, dreamers, and adventurers without the financial resources to purchase a capable home on the road.
We run our giveaways to give ANYONE a shot at living a life full of adventure in a rig that can carry their home to wherever adventure calls!
PROTECT
Our Giveaway Rigs mean nothing without the public lands, trails, and campsites we use to explore.
Many who are researching van life and overlanding do not realize the fight we are facing until they get out on the road and see it firsthand.
Our trails are being shut down, dispersed campsites are being shutdown, and the places we have known and loved are shrinking and ceasing to exist.
It is our duty and responsibility as users of our public lands to respect and care for them. We can all do that on a personal level through proper education and advocacy.
Here at Expedition Ranch however, we have made it part of our mission to make our own impact for the community and for our lands.
Through our giveaways we donate 10% of our bottom line to two non-profits that align with our values of balance between conservation and access to our public lands.
Our goal is to create a long term funding source for our non profit partners that grows over time to continue to advocate for and protect our public lands, campsites, and trails!
NON PROFIT PARTNERS
We have carefully chosen two non profits to support through our giveaways.
TREAD LIGHTLY: Focuses on clean ups, education programs, and general stewardship of our public lands. They take care of the conservation part.
BLUE RIBBON COALITION: Focuses on the legal battles for our public lands. When shutdowns come knocking they research the claims and if they are not valid, they take the battle to the courts.
We have chosen to split our donation between these two non profits because both sides are important to the future of overlanding and our enjoyment of our public lands.
OUR CUSTOMERS!
-
OLIVER
"Took this on a week long road trip to Washington and it held up good! Works great if you're dumb and forget a towel too. Excellent thread count, not as soft as my silk pajamas but close"
-
GREGORY
"I can't believe I won, I never win anything! I love the content. Keep up the good work man!"
-
SURI
"Love this hat! It's comfortable to wear and the simple colors and design allow the hat to go with any outfit! My friend actually stole it from me to hike a 14er in it, but I managed to get it back in time for my 14er!"
